Brought a 4TB HD today at best buy. I also got an SSD bracket so it can sit where it’s supposed to be instead of being all ghetto resting on the 5 inch tray.
Now the hard work begins; integrating all of my steam games, downloading the ones not yet installed and maybe organizing/deleting what remains of the vista wasteland on the 500GB drive.

I know that pain. For the last year that I used it my old laptop was constantly under 5gb free. Like my current storage situation much better:
Also all remnants of Vista should be banished to hell forever.

You can do an image of the boot drive, and restore to to a new drive. No fiddling around.

But then I’d have to boot to Vista. What the hell, man? I thought we were friends...

I’m so glad I have to resources for a proper server. I’ve got an older t410 with 6 2tb drives. On that is all the servers and workstations. I just connect to it with a laptop or thin client.

Damn I assumed that was 7. You could do an unplaced upgrade to 7 then to 10. But yeah just rebuild.

I already did that. I already have 7 installed to the SSD.
